And then what Happens?

Episode 3

It was another usual Thursday, Mr. Banerjee was busy with the lecture of Business Laws. At the same time, Akshay and Simran were discussing the next lecture and its content that particular day which was going to be covered in the class as discussed by the teacher the day before and suddenly Akshay asked: “can we meet outside the college?”

As Simran had no friend, she had a bit of fear in her mind about friends. So she didn’t answer the question. After some time Akshay realized that she didn’t want to answer his question. So he temporarily stopped the conversation for that time.

Meanwhile, Simran was thinking about what she had to do about this, should she go or not?... within five to ten minutes lecture got over and next lecture started and Simran was still busy thinking about the answer to be given to Akshay about which she was confused.

College bell rang, it indicated that the college was over for that day. Simran started to rearrange all her books and other stuff in her bag and got ready to go out the class. But she had some other thing in her mind.

Akshay was seated in the last bench and was waiting for Simran to go out from the class. But Simran took her bag and started walking towards the last bench.

“Hey, Akshay,” said Simran to Akshay with a beautiful smile.

“Hello!!” Akshay got surprised by watching her at his place.

“Am really sorry for not answering you about going outside….” Simran felt sorry for her behavior.

“Ohh... It's okay, don’t worry about that. I just asked you casually” He gave a little smile and answered her.

“Thanks for understanding me, and my answer is yes. We can meet outside” Simaran nodded her head slowly.

“It sounds so good” He laughed.

After watching him laughing Simran also started laughing.

“When and where shall we meet?” Simran raised a question.

“I have two, three places in my mind” He answered the question. “What about Starbucks?” he added after thinking for a while.

“Okay!! ….. yup.. we can go there. It is a nice place to meet and to know each other ” she agreed with him.

“So we will meet tomorrow evening” he tried to make her comfortable with the time.

“Ok no problem, I will be there at evening” Simran easily agreed with time.

It was 5:00 pm and they were in the class room, and suddenly Simran remembered she has to catch a train at 5:15 pm. She asked Akshay for a lift. Akshay ran towards his bike and drove it towards Simran. Within no time Simran sat on the bike and within a few minutes, they reached the railway station.

Simran not in train

The train arrived at the Delhi university station and she got a window seat. The train started to move and departed from the station, but this time Simran was neither watching outside the window nor was reading her book. She was thinking about Akshay. She looked happy from her face because she had a great feeling after getting a friend. She didn’t care about who is sitting beside her, what was happening around her, the train was running or not.

Her station came and she was still unaware about that, but there were lots of other passengers coming on the train. So one of the ladies came and sat beside Simran. She seated like someone jumped on the seat. Because of that Simran got jolted and suddenly the automatic announcement machine announced the name of the station. She stood up from her seat and left the train as fast as she could.

She checked out from the station and started walking towards her house. By this time she was trying to not to think about Akshay and she was walking fast to reach her home early.

Usually, she took her ten to fifteen minutes to reach home but today she took only seven minutes.

She rang the doorbell with a big smile on her face and her mother opened the door. She entered the house and sat on the sofa.

“Hey mummy, can I get some coffee?” she asked her mother in a happy tone.

“Yes bachcha” her mother was getting surprised by the tone of her voice. But she didn’t want to ask her about that, so she went to the kitchen and started preparing coffee.

Within ten minutes her mother came up with the coffee and they drank it. Now Simran got normal and she was back to her usual one. She completed her coffee and went to her room. And the day passed out as normal.

Episode 2

Within a few minutes, she reached the campus. Suddenly a voice from behind called her.

“Hey Simran” it was Akshay. Akshay and Simran used to study in the same school and now they were in college, but Simran always used to sit alone in the class, as she wanted to remain alone. So she didn't know the name of some of her classmates.

Akshay used to seat at the last bench with a couple of his friends. Sometimes he used to come late in the school but he was very polite and humble guy.

“Hello, you are the guy who used to sit at the last bench of the class room, and one of the also late comer. Right?” She spoke out all the things that came in her memory.

“Yes, I am that late comer” Akshay nodded his head.

“Sorry, for the things that I told you, but I didn’t know your name” she felt bad about what she said him, “late comer” and “last bencher”.

“YArrrr, it doesn't feel bad, its okay, you spoke what I was. So don't feel sorry for that. By the way, my name is Akshay” he answered.

“Akshay, nice name. Shall we move towards the college? Because college is about to start now” Simran wanted to go to the classroom on time.

They both are started walking towards the classroom, meanwhile, they both conversated about their college life and also discussed the exam, which is going to be conducted in the following week. After a five to six minutes of the walk they both reached the class and sat in their usual places, where they used to sit.

AFTER 21 DAYS

Exams were over and the Second year started. As usual, Simran started to go to the college. For the second year, classrooms were changed and subjects were also changed. But some of the faculties were same, while others were changed.

It was the second week of the second year since it started. And now, faculties started course of teaching according to the subject syllabus.

It was a usual Thursday and the first two lecture namely Corporate Accounting and Bussiness Statistics had been completed. Now, the third lecture of Business Laws was about to start, which was to be taken by Mr. Banerjee.

As usual, Akshay was seated at the last bench and Mr. Banerjee entered the classroom. He scanned all the students and started writing the name of the subject on the board, and suddenly he spoke out loudly “Last bencher, stand up and sit in the front row.”

Akshay was the only person who was seated at the last bench. He stood up and went towards the first bench of the class.Since Simran used to sit alone on the first bench, there was no one on the other half of the bench. So Akshay went to  Simran’s bench and asked her “can we share the bench?”. Simran nodded her and Akshay sit beside her.

From that onwards, Akshay used to sit with Simran when Mr. Banerjee’s lecture was there. In between, they used to talk about their past and also make random fun of each other.

And then what Happens?

Episode 1

It was a beautiful morning of Delhi, around 6:00 am. There was an awesome view from the window of Simran’s house. She was always seated in front of the window and used to admire the view outside of the house. She always noticed a newspaper vendor who used to sit at the corner of the street.

It was a just casual day, she was seated in front of the window and was checking out her social media updates. After five to ten minutes her mother called her for having breakfast.

“Mamma I will be there within five minutes” Simran answered.

“Bachcha, please come here as soon as possible, because you have to leave for college within half an hour” her mother wanted her in the kitchen.

It was the last week of the first year in college. Simran loved to study accounts, that’s why she chose B.Com for her graduation. She also likes wearing of different types clothing and makeup other than the study.

But the most she liked was her books. A bookshelf which was designed by her was already full of novels. She loved a comic which was given by her father on her 10^th birthday. She usually reads 9-10 books of a month.

After completing her breakfast she went to her room and got ready for her college. She took a novel for reading while she gets some free time. Usually, she traveled by Metro. So when she is in the metro, at that time she reads the novel.

“Bye Mamma, I am going to college,” Simran told.

It was a five to six-minutes walking distance to the metro station from her house. She started walking towards the metro station.

She reached the station and bought her ticket. And as usual, she stood beside the book store which is at the other end of platform no 2 and started thinking about next book to read.

By that time train was arrived at the platform. Although she tried to sit in that, there was no space on the train. So, she decided to wait for next one. Now she has to wait for another fifteen minutes. But it wasn’t an issue for her. She went towards a bench and sit there.

After fifteen minutes train arrived, she gets a window seat. Within five minutes of train started she opens her bag and took out a novel from it. She started reading.

Her college was 40 minutes far from the metro station. So she will get enough time to read novel.

‘next stop is Delhi university campus’ this was announced by an automatic announcement system. She closed her novel and stand up from the seat.

Station arrived and she came out of the train. With the help of sky-ways, she reached college road and she walked towards her college. She was walking as fast as possible because she was fifteen minutes late.

Within few minutes she reached in the campus. Suddenly someone called her.“Hey Simran……………..

Rajiv was waiting for his turn for the interview of a very famous management firm. He had recently completed his MBA from IIM. He was a good looking guy with a decent body structure. In addition to it he was quite humble and simple.

“Hello, is this the waiting room?” a beautiful voice from a girl travelled towards Rajiv.

“Hello, yes it is waiting room” Rajiv answered her gently.
   

“Are you here for the interview?” she asked her with a cute smile and sat beside him.

“Yes”

After that the conversation began.  They started by asking name of each other and afterwards started discussing about their past and the reason why they wanted to acquire that job.

Riya, (name of the girl), was very humble and joyful natured. She was like a child who doesn’t want to become matured.  She likes to talk, but only to those persons with whom she is comfortable, but she is not talkative in nature.

“My father has his own business,” Riya added.

“Don’t you think that you should work there !” Rajiv anxiously awaited the answer.

“I used to work there but wanted to join here just for a change” she answered in a very funny manner.

“You are totally mad” Rajiv said with a romantic smile.

“So what would you like to do if you get selected?” Rajiv wanted to extend the conversation as much as he could.

“Nothing, would like to take things to go as they are”, her craziness was attaining the topmost level.

After listening to all these, Rajiv fell in love with her. But couldn’t do anything as he felt himself at a quite lower position than Riya.  

The interviewer came and Rajiv was called for the interview.

After Rajiv had gone, Riya became blank and only thought about Rajiv. She want him in her life. So she made a plan in her mind.

Within the duration of thirty minutes Rajiv came back with a big smile.

“Hey welcome back, so, how was your interview” Riya asked curiously

“It was awesome and I got selected” he answered her like he has conquered a kingdom, but within seconds he became serious. The thought stroked again, he wanted her. But, he kills that thought from his mind and leaves that place.

She was very happy for him, she wanted to jump in joy but it was not possible at that place. But her heart was filled with happiness, jumping like a small child.

Now it was her time for the interview. Interviewer came and called her for the interview.

After fifteen days………. AT THE OFFICE:

It was Rajiv’s first day in that office and Rajiv was happy but he was missing Riya badly.

After sometime someone knocked the door. So Rajiv stood up and opened it and…..

“Riya, is that you?” Rajiv was shocked

“Yes it’s me” RiYa answered with a cute, beautiful smile

“Why you accepted that job?”

“Because the only reason being that “I LOVE YOU”, she wanted to hug him but she was awaiting reply.

Rajiv wanted to make sure that he was not day-dreaming. After realising that he was not dreaming he hugged her tightly with a sweet kiss on her cheeks.
